Expect A Supernatural “Suddenly!”

“Unrelenting disappointment leaves you heartsick, but a sudden good break can turn life around” (Proverbs 13:12, The Message).
Perhaps you are a Christian that is quite dismayed as a result of not experiencing answers to your prayers? You have read the Scripture and it is apparent that your personal circumstances contradict many of the promises of the Lord.
Your mind and emotions may be saying the Lord has abandoned you. The Psalmist understood how you feel. He cried out of the depths of anguish, “O Lord, how long will you forget me? How long will you look the other way? How long must I struggle with anguish in my soul with sorrow in my heart every day? How long will my enemy have the upper hand?” (Psalm 13:1-2, New Living Translation).
Do not misinterpret your current delay as a permanent denial. Your story is not exceptional. You are surrounded by a great cloud of witnesses who overcame severe hardship and pressed on to possess the promises of God. You are called to emulate the faith of such men and women and likewise inherit the promises. “…Follow the example of those who are going to inherit God’s promises because of their faith and endurance”(Hebrews 6:12, New Living Translation).
In the days of Elisha the prophet, the nation of Israel went from dire famine to abundant feasting in a mere span of 24 hours as a result of divine intervention (See 2 Kings 7:1). The people experienced “a sudden good break” that turned their lives around.
The Lord is about to open the heavens and cause you to experience a supernatural “suddenly” that will turn things around in your life. Divine acceleration is coming. Keep believing. Stay the course. “Patient endurance is what you need now, so that you will continue to do God’s will. Then you will receive all that he has promised. ‘For in just a little while the Coming One will come and not delay'” (Hebrews 10:36-37, New Living Translation).
