DAY 1 — Jesus Came Preaching the Kingdom
Reading: Mark 1:14–15
Teaching:
When Jesus began His earthly ministry, He didn’t announce a new religion. He didn’t preach “pray this prayer so you can go to heaven.”
He preached: “The Kingdom of God has arrived.”
This was not random language—this was a direct continuation of Genesis 1.
Where Adam forfeited the Kingdom, Jesus reintroduced it. Where humanity lost the glory, Jesus restored it. Where dominion was surrendered, Jesus reclaimed it.
His message was not merely about escaping earth—but transforming it. Reclaiming it. Healing it. Filling it with Heaven’s reality.
Jesus’ central message was the Gospel of the Kingdom—the good news that God’s rule is now available to humanity through Him.
The King had returned, and with Him, the original mandate.
What Christ Restored in You:
“But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light” (1 Peter 2:9).
Through Christ, you are restored to:
Royal identity — you are not a beggar; you are royalty in the King’s household
Priestly access — you carry God’s presence and speak on His behalf
Holy purpose — set apart for Kingdom assignment, not worldly conformity
Light-bearing authority — darkness has no power where you walk in His light
You are not just forgiven—you are repositioned. Not just redeemed—you are reinstated. Not just saved—you are sent.
How to Put On the New Man:
1. Accept your royal identity — Stop living beneath your Kingdom position. You have access to the King’s resources, authority, and presence.
2. Embrace your priestly function — You don’t just go to church to encounter God; you carry Him wherever you go. You are the temple.
3. Walk in the light — Declare His praises. Speak Kingdom truth. Let your life expose darkness simply by shining.
Reflection: Before today, how would you have described Jesus’ main message?
Activation: Pray:
“Father, open my eyes to the reality of Your Kingdom. I receive my restored identity as royal priesthood. I am no longer defined by what I lost in Adam, but by what I gained in Christ. Your Kingdom has come to me—now let it come through me.”
