Holy Spirit is calling for a profound reformation within the church. This reformation isn't about changing doctrine or altering the fundamental truths of our faith. Instead, it's a joyous return to the biblical model of a fully activated and equipped body of Christ, where every member plays a vital role in advancing God's Kingdom.
The Biblical Vision
The Apostle Paul paints a beautiful picture of this vision in his letter to the Ephesians:
"And he gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the shepherds and teachers, to equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ." (Ephesians 4:11-12, ESV)
This passage illuminates an inspiring truth: the primary role of church leaders is to equip and empower all believers for service. The goal is a mature, fully-functioning body where every member contributes their unique gifts and calling, creating a tapestry of diverse ministries working in harmony.
