Frequently Asked Questions
One-Year Certificate Program | SENT College
The following Frequently Asked Questions are designed to give you a clear, transparent overview of the heart, structure, and academic pathway of the SENT College One-Year Certificate Program. Whether you are discerning your next step in ministry, exploring theological formation, or seeking a sustainable pathway for long-term Kingdom impact, these answers will help you understand what to expect and how SENT College is uniquely designed to serve your calling.
What makes SENT College different from other Bible colleges?
SENT College exists at the intersection of theology, transformation, and mission. We are not simply focused on information, but on formation. Not just academic knowledge, but Kingdom alignment.
Our heart is to train people who don’t just know the Bible, but who are equipped and empowered to live out their calling in God’s Kingdom.
At SENT College, we emphasize:
Deep biblical and theological grounding, rooted in Scripture and historic Christian faith
Revival and reformation, shaping leaders who burn with spiritual passion and carry cultural wisdom
The Kingdom of God, not merely church activity, but life on mission in every sphere
Five-fold ministry, helping students discern, develop, and deploy their God-given gifts
Practical equipping, so learning translates into obedience, leadership, and impact
Our aim is not to produce graduates who are simply credentialed, but believers who are sent — clear in identity, confident in calling, and faithful in obedience.
Is SENT College accredited, and what credentials do you offer?
Yes. SENT College is an accredited religious educational institution in the state of Texas, USA.
We operate as a church-based, non-secular religious organization, which allows us to legally and formally offer Certificates, Diplomas, and Degrees within the framework of religious education, both in the United States and internationally.
Our accreditation reflects our commitment to legitimacy, accountability, and excellence, while remaining fully aligned with our theological convictions and mission.
Because we are a religious institution (not a secular university), our programs are designed specifically for those pursuing ministry, leadership, spiritual formation, and Kingdom vocation, rather than state-regulated professional licensure.
Can this One-Year Certificate be applied toward further study?
Yes. The One-Year Certificate is designed as both a standalone qualification and a foundational academic pathway.
Courses completed in the first year may be applied toward further study at SENT College, including:
Diploma of Ministry
Bachelor of Theology
Master’s-level ministry studies
Doctoral ministry qualifications
Progression into higher qualifications is subject to program requirements, academic readiness, ministry experience, and suitability for advanced study. This ensures academic integrity and healthy spiritual formation.
Students who continue their studies are able to build on what they have already completed, rather than starting again.
Will SENT College recognize my prior training and ministry experience?
Yes. SENT College will strongly consider each student’s prior theological training and ministry history on an individual basis.
Many students come with years of formal study, informal training, and hands-on ministry experience. Students complete a brief Prior Learning and Ministry Experience Review form outlining their background, which is then assessed by SENT College staff as part of the admissions and placement process.
Our goal is to honor what God has already done in and through you, while maintaining academic integrity, spiritual formation, and alignment with program outcomes.
Who are the teachers at SENT College?
SENT College is led and taught by seasoned ministry practitioners who combine theological depth with real-world Kingdom experience.
The primary instructor and founder is Glenn Bleakney, who holds a Bachelor of Theology, a Master of Divinity, and is currently completing a Doctor of Ministry. He brings decades of experience in pastoral leadership, teaching, revival ministry, and global equipping.
SENT College is also supported by international adjunct instructors—men and women deeply rooted in Scripture, seasoned in ministry, and actively serving in diverse cultural and ministry contexts around the world.
Together, the faculty is committed to theological integrity, spiritual depth, and Kingdom effectiveness.
