What is the answer? Jesus told us it is DISCIPLESHIP!
I want to encourage each one of you to consider your responsibility to disciple others. It starts in our homes with our children and other family members for sure, but we MUST GO FURTHER.
Each believer can and MUST disciple others. Remember the words of Jesus and Paul:
- “Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you. And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” (Matthew 28:19-20).
- “And the things that you have heard from me among many witnesses, commit these to faithful men who will be able to teach others also” (2 Timothy 2:2).
Inviting people to attend church is NOT ENOUGH! We must make more and better disciples of Christ!
