Resurrection Realm

Bleakney copy 2“Indeed, we felt we had received the sentence of death. But this happened that we might not rely on ourselves but on God, who raises the dead. He has delivered us from such a deadly peril, and he will deliver us again. On him we have set our hope that he will continue to deliver us” (2 Corinthians 1:9-10, New International Version).

In order to experience the supernatural power of the Kingdom, it is essential that one take up residency in the resurrection realm. This is the place where our faith no longer rests in ourselves or others, but is entirely invested in God. Paul understood this truth and cried out, “Yes, we had the sentence of death in ourselves, that we should not trust in ourselves but in God who raises the dead “(II Corinthians 1:9 NKJV).

When our wisdom, strength, and resources are inadequate and we do not know what to do, it is then that we are in close proximity to the resurrection realm. Trusting in ourselves will invariably result in limitation, lack, and liability. When we implicitly and wholeheartedly put our faith in God, we will experience the life of Christ working in and through us enabling us to experience resurrection power.

No matter how distressed you may be right now, God is with you. When you are at the end of yourself, you are truly at the beginning of a miracle. Remember the children of Israel in the days of King Jehoshaphat. “O our God, will You not judge them? For we have no power against this great multitude that is coming against us; nor do we know what to do, but our eyes are upon You” (2 Chronicles 20:12).
