THE SECRET TO LIMITLESS PROVISION:
It is truly amazing when you think about how effective Jesus’ ministry was while he was on the earth. All of the resources of heaven were available to Him. He lacked no good thing always having all sufficiency to execute His calling and ministry.
Though Jesus did receive financial support from those on the earth on occasion (Luke 8:2-3), He was not restricted to the economy of this world. Time after time He was was the recipient of supernatural provision from His Father. He fed thousands of people without having adequate natural resources (Matthew 14:21; 15:38). One time He was able to secure a venue to celebrate the Passover Feast with his disciples as a direct result of the Holy Spirit’s direction (Luke 22:7-13). Moreover, the economy of heaven provided the needed finances to pay a tax -bill for himself and Peter (See Matthew 17:27).
As with Jesus, so today there is heavenly provision and power available to the children of God so that we experience no scarcity of spiritual or natural resources. We are citizens of heaven, and, as such, God provides for us according to His riches in glory, not the world’s financial system (See Philippians 4:19).
Like Jesus, our forerunner, when we abandon our lives to the relentless pursuit of the will of God we will experience the abundant supply of heaven. Because we are following the vision of the King, we will experience the provision of His Kingdom! “Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need” (Matthew 6:33, New Living Translation).
